De-shedding is a vital grooming service that utilizes specific tools and products tailored to your dog's coat type. For "double-coated" breeds, shaving their fur disrupts their natural temperature regulation and skin protection functions. Unless there are severe mats or medical needs, we strongly advise against doing so. Shaving double-coated breeds can cause permanent damage, leading to hair loss, potential skin cancers, and alopecia, while increasing the risk of heatstroke. In fact, by removing the layer of dead hair in the undercoat, this service promotes healthier skin and reduces the amount of hair around your home. Since dogs are unable to groom themselves, regular de-shedding is crucial to their overall health and well-being.
HAND-STRIPPING
Hand-stripping is a service offered for specific breeds with wiry coats, such as Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Irish Setters, West Highland White Terriers, Schnauzers, and Border Terriers.
It is a grooming process using a painless "plucking" technique to encourage new coat growth. The service involves manually removing dead hair from the coat instead of trimming, ensuring a tidy, healthy appearance and a shinier coat.
The fee for this service is $90 per hour (additional charges for washing and drying or tidying up), and the actual duration depends on the condition of the dog's coat, typically ranging from 1 to 3 hours.
It's important to note that some dogs may not tolerate this process well. Perhaps we can plan gradually and make a few attempts to help the dog adapt gradually. Therefore, we need to assess how your dog is doing. So we need to assess your dog's suitability.

HOW
DOES IT WORK
The puppy's first wash and groom are the most important for its growth.
Our program will during 6 weeks from
steps 1-3, and also you will get a
SALON PUPPY GIFT SET.
We use all Hyponic hypoallergenic shampoo and conditions to care for your puppy's health. We will consult with you about your puppy grooming style and how to maintain your puppy at home.
BENEFITS
Training your dog builds up a language of communication between the groomer and your dog that promotes security and comfort.
Positive reinforcement training, which rewards and motivates a dog for good behavior, and they can be trained to improve their disposition in the salon, allows the groomer to foster a relationship with your dog based on mutual trust and respect.
STEP 1 - LAZZZY WASH DRY
MUST BE JOINED BETWEEN 12-16 weeks
Allow the puppy to freely explore the salon, play with the groomer, and build a connection. Familiarize them with the environment and grooming tools, provide bathing experiences, and introduce them to the new sensation of a blow dryer for the first time.
STEP 2 - WASH TIDY UP
17-18 weeks
Repeat the first step of the experience, and in the second step, introduce them to nail cutting, paw trimming, and around their eye corners and face. Encourage positive memories of the grooming process by providing appropriate rewards for a friendly association with the puppies.
STEP 3 - GROOM
18-20 weeks
In this step, most of the puppy is already familiar with the salon environment and grooming process. In this final step, we can try giving the puppy a completely new look. We can choose a look that best suits the puppy based on its hair condition.
